21st June 10-  Online self care is now available for all customers to change destinations, view call history and add new services.  Contact us for your username and password.

11th June 10-  We have now been allocated over 60 different, that's around 200,000 additional 01/02 geographic landline numbers.  These will be made available very soon.

30th May 10-  We have our first batch of  10 x 01/02 geographic number ranges allocated by Ofcom.  These will be live on the system within a few days. 

12th May 10-  Following reports of nuisance calls to a customer, We have built a clever bit of code to block the phone numbers of these nuisance callers, this service is available to all customers free of charge..

2nd May 10-  New services are now available, Call Recording, Missed Call Alerts and Voicemail to Email. Fax to email ,New voice prompts will be available this week.

16th April 10- Divert inbound calls to your sip addresses is now available.

30th March 10- A few additional services are now available.  We can show your incoming calls as the DDI  i.e.  Your phone displays the 0800 number as calling you.  Alternatively we can show the callers phone number even if the person calling withholds their number (141).

27th March 10-  Delighted to announce that our new rate card will be launched on Monday 29th March.  These rates are available to any new customer and come with our basic level of service.  08xxx to UK landline, online account access, monthly call stats via email, free destination changes, and our normal support via email or telephone 24-7. 

5th February 10- We now supply every Tesco store in the UK with a 0808 freephone number

2nd February 10- Our new IP interconnect finally goes live on the 16th Feb.  A new online self service and a huge range on new services will be launched

9th December 09- New website launched, added LIVE HELP and Services

20th November 09- New number range is now available 08009101XXX

27th October 09- We are delighted to inform all our customers that are long awaited IP interconnect with BTWholesale is now live and ready to use. This means improved connection speeds, increased call capacity of 1920 concurrent calls, 480 IVR services and 360 conference calls. The next step is moving customer accounts across to the new platform and to start the online billing system.

10th September 09- 2000 customers signed up this year ! It's been a fantastic achievement, we are very proud !

17th july 09- Important terms and conditions change. All customers may now if they so wish PORT any numbers allocated to them by Numbergroup to BT within 24 hours of requesting this change. This passes the ownership of all numbers to you the customer. If your not happy with our service, keep your number and move it to BT.

15th july 09- It's war !! well it's a price war... Numbers now available for just 99p 10p ! Can UK2 Numbers beat us ? No there still charging 2p/min for 0800 numbers with a minimum call fee of 5p !

7th july 09- Our long awaited 2009 model network equipment has been installed and is currently going through testing with BT. This new equipment represents an investment in our business totalling over £350,000. This will secure our future operations as a leading number supplier. New service such as online self service in real time. New services will soon be available, such as;

• Call screening to filter unwanted calls or accelerate important callers
• Menus to allow callers to navigate to the right destination
• Announcements for user information and audiotext services
• Geographic routing to direct calls to the nearest office
• Date / time based routing to accommodate holidays and working hours
• Call data and billing availble 24-7 online
• Call queuing
• Call recording
• fax to email
• Voicemail and callback service

6th July 09 - Ofcom have awarded us another three thousand 0800 numbers to cope with the huge demand our online sales business is bringing us, we are now averaging 35 new customers daily.

3rd July 09- We have just secured our biggest 0800 number deal to date. We are supplying 3000 x 0800 Freephone numbers to the UK's leading retail business TESCO, lets just say "every little helps" !

10th June 09- We were delighted that the competition, another telecom company Global Telecom is now buying 03 numbers from us ! They ordered over 20 x Gold 030 numbers and we are delighted that they chose us for the great numbers and great deals we offer.

3rd June 09- *Important information for customers of Jim Aitken of Alternate media Ltd* Alternatemedia Ltd have failed to pay their invoices and are in breach of contract. All telephone numbers operated by Alternatemedia Ltd through us will shortly be disconnected for non payment. All end users will be given the option to continue service and use of their numbers if they so wish.

1st May 09- 0800 calls now charged at 1.5 pence per minute at all times.

25th March 09- Pre Release of some very special 0800 number @ £45 set up fee. Live date on the BT Network of 21st April.

3rd March 09- We will shortly be introducing a set-up fee form £3.50 to £45 for all new numbers issued, this fee includes 1 hour connection times, account set up, test call and email confirmation.

1st March 09- Record month in February, 158 new customers

16th February 09- We have been awarded 4000 new freephone numbers by Ofcom. The following freephone ranges that should be live to pick from the 21st April. 08004101xxx, 08004102xxx, 08006101xxx and 08006102xxx. These ranges contain lots of gold and special number combinations i.e. 08004101010, 08004102030, 08004101112, 08004101000, 08006101010 and 08006102030 All available for FREE !

5th February 09- To cope with extra demand for our free numbers we have purchased another 240 line pci telecom switch from our main supplier digitalk.

1st February 09- 0800 calls now reduced to the lowest level ever 1.8 pence per minute

21st January 09 - New Free gold 0800 numbers just added onto the website

19th January 09 - Our record weekend ! over 19 new customers signed up over the weekend.

26th September 08 - FREE FREE FREE. Numbergroup have laid down the challenge on google , all our numbers are now free, no connection, no rental, Nothing ! Our Freephone rate is still the best at 1.99 pence per minute

1st June 08- Numbergroup have just dramatically reduced the cost of all gold numbers to just £15 per month exc VAT
