What is a Freephone 0800 number ?
A Freephone 0800 number is a telephone number that allows the person calling to ring without incurring any call charges. Currently this is only guaranteed when calling from a UK landline telephone. Calling from a mobile phone will incur call charges from most mobile phone providers currently excluding BT Mobile and Giffgaff networks. Hopefully this situation will change once new regulations are released by Ofcom the UK government regulator in late 2013.

How do 0800 numbers work ?
In response to your advertising potential customers dial your free to call 0800 number. Our system automatically forwards these calls to your required telephones, this could be a landline, mobile or SIP PBX or a combination of these. This process takes place within a millisecond, your phone rings and you answer it. Once your call has ended our system works out the exact cost of the call. This charge is then added to your account with us. At the end of the month we send you a bill by email.
