Numbering API

The NumberGroup online API provides machine to machine access to our provisioning servers giving access to our entire range of telephone numbers. It allows secure transactions via pre-registered endpoints (IP address) the ability to request new Direct Dial-In (DDI) and update existing DDI translations. We can however extend the API to suit business requirements if required, enabling immediate provisioning of new numbers, forwarding to existing numbers and enablement of enhanced services such as voicemail.

API Details

Our API accepts two types of methods for affecting a Number Translation, a request and an update. The request allocates a new number translation, the update can update or remove a translation.

Available parameters

api_key: the API key we will provide you.

ddi_type: the type of number e.g. 0800, 0870, 0844 etc. Optional if the ddi is specified.

ddi: an exact ddi to allocate or update. MUST be specified on an update, optional on a request.

translation: the number to translate to, in international format.

ttl: the Time To Live for this translation in days.
